Telemarketing Executive Overview
Tasks and Duties of a Telemarketing Executive:
• Profiling - Undertake calls to profile and identify potential target clients/prospects.
• Monitor and report on telemarketing activity - Produce weekly activity reports
• Ensure targets identified are being achieved (quantity and quality of calls), proactively use initiative to ensure targets are achieved.
A Telemarketing Executive should also exhibit the ability to spot new business opportunities and to qualify those contacts, which are essential to increase the company’s ventures in market shares. It also helps if one possesses a previous experience especially, in outbound telephone sales work and a basic knowledge of IT.
Other Functions Include:
ü Responsible for customer service turnaround within set time frames.
ü Well versed in voice sales closures / in-bound /out-bound calls.
ü Tele-prospecting /tele-marketing /tele-sales campaigns
ü Minimize customer dissonance, optimize charge out & cost per transaction
ü Monitor customer satisfaction levels & participate in developing improvement plans
ü Maintain customer & vendor databases
ü Implementation of new negotiated facilities services & programmes
ü Ensure accurate documentation of customer profiles.
ü Handle written customer correspondence on behalf of operations
ü Communicate with operations staff on client issues, policy changes etc
ü Ensure high level productivity
ü Provide highest level of comfort while dealing /transacting with prospects /customers
ü Motivate co-team members; have passion to handle emotions of others especially overseas customers
