A few colleges offering a course in nanotech are-IITs(Mumbai/Kanpur/Delhi/Chennai/Guwahati/Delhi),NIT-Rourkela,IIS-Bangalore,Jamia Milia Islamia-Delhi,Amity institute-Noida etc. About Bioinformatics, it is another very less heard course and hence not offered at many colleges in India. It refers to the study of molecular biology to increase the knowledge about the molecular processes few colleges offering the course are as follows:
Institutes of bioinformatics-Bangalore,
University of Pune-Maharashtra,
Amity institute of biotechnology-Delhi,
Jamia ilia Islamia-Delhi,
Insituttes of bioinformatics-Pune etc.

YoungBuzz India - Dear Dhiren.BCA and B.sc IT both are undergraduate programs for students who want to excel in the field of computers. BCA requires one to undertake project in each of the 6 semesters after which they are expected to submit a report.B.SC(IT) offers basics in information system and menegement.It also prepares one for subjects like operating system, data base, data structure etc. BCA gives diversified knowledge about applications like C++, operations management,finanical accounting and management, while B.Sc.(IT) deals with internet, information system etc. BCA enable one to strt off a career as a jun ior programmer and can get promoted to senior programmers and PMs. While the students dealing with B.Sc are designated as computer professionals and can start their work as web designer, programmer, database user, network implementer etc. A post-graduation in the related field is always preferred.
Entrance tests are conducted by various universities and colleges for these courses. The basic eligibility criteria is that the students must have completed their 12th with math.
