Can I do a course in hotel management in Switzerland where I can work and study?
YoungBuzz Counselor - I am glad that you mentioned this prgandhi. Indian colleges have also come up with some extremely good courses that are comparable to the ones offered in universities abroad. You can check them on this weblink, http://www.youngbuzz.com/colleges/fieldofstudy/Hospitality .Visiting this website will give you an insight into the courses available. Many universities give you an option to study in India for the first few years and then do the final year of the course overseas. This gives you the best of both worlds! For instance, check out the courses offered in Ecole Hoteliere Lavasa. on the web link http://www.ecolehotelierelavasa.com/index.html .

Again, studying abroad gives not only international exposure, but also lots of hands-on experience as well as flexibility in subject choices. Universities like Le Cordon Bleu and Les Roches International School of Hotel Management are some of the most reputed universities in the world. Please check the courses offered by these universities.

At the end, where you choose to study will be your personal choice taking into account all the factors that influence your decision.

Sheron Fernandes - universities in India and abroad have got loads of good courses to offer. What makes a difference is the kind of industry exposure you get abroad. You learn much more from experience and exposure, than what you can ever hope to learn from textbooks !
