Nature of Test– Computer- adaptive test – Three sections: Analytical writing assessment, Quantitative ability & Verbal ability

Total Score – 340
Verbal Reasoning: 130 – 170,
Quantitative Reasoning: 130 – 170,
Analytical Writing: 0 – 6,
Test fee- US$ 160 Mode of Payment- Demand Draft / Credit card
Computer-based Test Detailed Score Reporting Schedule
If you took the computer-based GRE® General Test prior to August 1, 2011, your scores will be sent to you and the institutions you designated within 10 to 15 days after your test date.
If you take the computer-based GRE® revised General Test between August and November, score reports will be sent to you and the score recipients you designated according to the schedule below.
Additional Score Reporting fee- US$ 23 per institute (4 universities free of cost, to be predetermined at the time of registering for the GRE )
Test Score Validity -5 Years
Mode of Registration- Online – www.gre.org
Documents required at the time of registration - Original & valid passport (to be carried along on the date of the examination)
