YoungBuzz Counselor - Hi Mayuri. We understand the dilemma you are going through. With so many career options it is indeed difficult to make a choice. Nevertheless, we can still help you make a wiser career choice.

Firstly it would be biased to suggest you any specific career on this forum where we dont know what your interests are and also no knowing the kind of person that you are.
We strongly recommend you to come and visit one of our centers and give the career test which will help you know more about your interests and your personality.
You will be given a report, followed by which you will go through a counseling session wherein you and the YoungBuzz career expert will come to a couple of career options which you can consider.

This will surely help you make an informed career choice.

Although there are a few institutes offering distance education in civil engineering like 1, Acharya Nagarjuna University,A.P
2. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological university,Kukatpally,Hyderabad
its recommendable that you re-consider your decision.

Taking up a course in civil engineering would mean investing another 3 years, leave aside the efforts that you will have to take to understand the basics. After this its again going to be a struggle to find jobs and even if you do you will have to compromise on remuneration.

But if you consider to continue with computers and spend a couple of years exposing yourself to all that the field has to offer surely you will come across something that interests you. You can consider getting in to :
software development, programming, systems analysis, operations, support, marketing/sales.

DO give a thought to this and write back for further queries.

All the best, Mayuri!
