YoungBuzz Counselor - Dear Mehetyar,

BSc biotechnology is a 3-year course which teaches the integration of biology, chemistry, computer science etc. B.Tech in biotechnology is a four year degree which involves the study of using living organism and bioprocess in the field of engineering, medicine etc. one who does a BSc in Biotechnology would look at research in the sense of assimilation of data and planing of research and marketing . However some one who does a B.Tech in Biotechnology will be into the conduction of research.
It thoroughly depends on what you would enjoy the most. However there is no significant difference between B.tech or B.E program it is how a college would like to call their program.

I wish you all the best.
