While CA can practice and run a firm by controlling finance, Cs is a part of the company who advises the board of directors. He can take care of financial decisions, but can not audit accounts.
Hence, its a matter of choice, they both have tremendous scope.
Both the courses can be done simultaneously with you graduation.
In order to become a CA you will have to register with ICAI and get you study material and syllabus while you prepare for CPT. Followed by this will be IPCC and computer training after which you will have intern with a professional CA and then give the final exam.
Its the same with CS too, you have your foundation, intermediate and final exam.
CA usually take 4 to 5 years to complete while CS take 3 years.
