If you love Mathematics, then go ahead and do a higher study in Mathematics. There are plenty of opportunities in Mathematics today. Sc. in Mathematics, you can specialise in Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Research, Computer Applications, Informatics, Industrial Mathematics, Statistics, Electronics, etc. After a Masters degree you can get into various interesting applied areas like Computer Science, System Science, Automation, Operational Research, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Astronomy, etc. The most interesting area where Mathematicians are highly preferred are science of computing. They are also preferred in application of computer science, System automation, Information technology, etc. Some of the fields in which you will find career opportunities are - Computer Science, Computer applications like software development, Information Technology applications, System Science, Quality control, Operations research in industries, Socio-economic research, Automation Science, Astronomy and Astrophysics, Pure and Applied Statistics, and other.
