Apart from the career scope that are shown in another answer, there are various different options after graduation in chemistry. The candidates after post graduation apply for the Ph.D., research and developments and teaching in your subjects at university level. The UGC NET and CSIR NET Exam are conducted for the selection of assistant professor in the universities, for the research and developments and to pursue the Ph.D. The minimum eligibility to apply for the NET exam is post graduation. The science stream candidates can apply for the CSIR NET while other stream candidates can apply for UGC NET examination. The various career scope after qualifying UGC NET or CSIR NET for Chemistry you may choose one of the following: Become assistant professor at the university Get scholarship or stipends become an entrepreneur work as lab-technician or assistant apply in PSUs Become an author Etc.
