E-commerce course curriculum varies a lot in different institutions and programmes. Here is a typical curriculum. You will study about different operating systems like Unix, Linux, Win NT and servers like MS Enterprise Server, Win NT Server, IIS and Apache. You will learn different fundamental languages and technologies like Java, Advanced Java, Java Beans, Servelets, JDBC, CORBA, SQL, Oracle 8I, JBuilder and WAP which are used to develop e-commerce applications. You will also learn about various fundamental programming tools like HTML, DHTML, UML/XML, DreamWeaver, WML, ASP and PHP as well as about some Internet programming tools such as CGI /Perl, VB Script and Java Script.

It is very difficult to answer whether you will be able to do the subjects without knowing your skills and aptitudes in details. Generally, to do well in these courses, you need to have very good analytical and logical abilities. In other words, you will need to analyse problems, theories and facts and you should be able to develop logical solutions to the problems. You should also be able to understand the logic of different scientific principles and the inter-relation between different variables. Generally, students with a background in B Com do not find the curriculum difficult.
