I am doing my Intermediate second year in the CEC group and I would like to join the IAF. Please recommend the courses or training that I should take to qualify for IAF. And will I have to invest some money in it?

There is no particular course or training that you can do to get into the Indian Air Force (IAF). IAF recruits candidates through various modes and then trains you. There are several branches in IAF and for each of these branches, eligibility criteria and entry procedures are different. To plan out the ways to get into IAF, you should first learn all about the branches in IAF, eligibility for entry into these branches and the entry procedures. For example, graduates, other than in Engineering or in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), can get into Administrative or Logistics (Short Service Commission) branches. Age Limit: 20-23 years for graduates and 20-25 years for post graduates. Educational Qualifications: Graduates with 60 per cent and above marks and post graduates with 50 per cent and above.
