As an Environmental Manager you will be responsible for dealing with environmental issues. Today river pollution, sewage treatment, deforestation, air and water pollution, hospital waste management and deteriorating wildlife habitats are all issues of concern. Your main duties would include planning for optimal utilization of resources and developing systems for the conversation and protection of resources. To make a career in environmental management you need to be a graduate preferably with a background in science or social sciences. This should be followed by a Post Graduation in Environmental Mangement. As an Environmental Manager you could be employed in government organization like Central Pollution Control Board, State Pollution Control board, large industries and high risk producing factories. You could also work as Environmental consultants.
