Bachelors’ degree, with 50% or more marks in aggregate, in engineering (Electronics/Tele-communication/ Electrical/ Computer Science/ IT) or Science (Physics/ Electronics)
Admission Process
Admission to the course is done on the basis of a written test and interview held at Delhi during the months of April - May. Applicants qualifying in the written test are called for the interview. The admission notice and entrance test dates etc. are notified on the website of the Centre and the University. The distribution of marks for the admission test is as follows:
Written Test : 170 The written test shall be designed to assess basic knowledge and aptitude of the candidate in the field of physics, electronics, communication, computers, networking, along with issues of general awareness related to media and broadcasting. The written test will consist of 75 multiple choice questions each carrying two marks and descriptive questions carrying twenty marks.
Interview : Interview will be for 30 marks. The focus in interview will be on assessing basic knowledge of the applicant in area of his graduate study and on exploring his interests, aptitude, strengths etc. for assessing his/ her suitability for the course.
