The call for admissions appears in leading national newspapers after the declaration of the results of the GATE Exam, typically in the months of March/April with interviews being held in May. The application form may be downloaded from http://www.iitd.ac.in and submitted with a draft in Indian rupees covering the requisite handling charges. The full-time M.Tech program requires the applicant to have a good score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Usually the School selects the applicants with the best scores and invites them for an interview.
