Eligibility
A candidate who has undergone any of the following courses in English medium and passed the examination with 50% marks in the aggregate of optional subjects.
Pre-degree course with Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics/Bio-Technology/ Computer Science as optional subjects.
Higher Secondary Course of Govt. of Kerala with Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics/Bio-Technology/ Computer Science as optional subjects.
Any other course with Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics/Bio-Technology/ Computer Science as optional subjects approved as equivalent to any of the above courses by the University of Kerala.
Admission Process
Kerala CEE BPharm Entrance Exam 2012 Kerala Common Entrance Examination BPharm 2012 Applications are invited for the Entrance Examination for admission to B Pharm Course [ through Lateral Entry ] for the year, 2011 in the Government and Private – Self financing Colleges.
Kerala BPharm Eligibility Criteria for Admission 2012 : Kerala CEE BPharm Exam Date : 11th December, 2011 ( Sunday ). Nativity : Applicant should be an Indian citizen of Kerala origin. Academic Qualifications : Diploma in Pharmacy [ Candidate shall have studied in an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and shall have passed the diploma examination conducted by the State Board of D Pharm Examinations or equivalent and must have a minimum of 50% marks for the second year D Pharm examination ]. ( For SEBC / OEC candidates, 45% marks for the second year D Pharm examination. SC / ST Candidates need only pass in the second year D Pharm Examination ). There is no upper age limit for Kerala CEE Admission to the course.
Selection on the basis of Kerala CEE Entrance Examination 2012 : Selection of candidates for Bpharm ( Lateral entry ) course 2011 will be made on the basis of an Entrance Examination to be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, [ CEE ] at Thiruvananthapuram on 11.12.2011 ( Sunday ). It will consists of one Paper, of two hours duration and will have 100 Objective Type ( Multiple Choice ) Questions. Candidates except those belonging to SC / ST categories have to score a minimum of 10% marks in the Kerala CEE Entrance Examination, to qualify and to figure in the rank list.
Kerala CEE BPharm Application Form 2012 Kerala CEE Prospectus and Application Form for Kerala Common Entrance Exam will be available from 17.11.2011, in the Kerala CEE website www.cee-kerala.org. There will be separate Kerala Entrance Application Forms for general candidates and SC / ST candidates.
Candidates seeking admission to this course can apply in the prescribed format, after downloading the Kerala BPharm Application Form, from the Kerala website www.cee-kerala.org., along with necessary documents and a Demand Draft [ 300/- for General candidates and 150/- for SC / ST candidates ] drawn on a nationalized bank, in favour of the “Commissioner for Entrance Examinations”, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Kerala BPharm Application Forms will not be sold from the office of the CEE or office of the DME. Application fee once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Last date and time for receipt of filled-in Kerala CEE Application Forms 2012 : Candidates seeking admission should forward their completed application with all the required documents to the following address : Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 001.
Kerala Entrance Application Form send either by Registered post / hand delivery / speed post so as to reach him before on 30.11.2011 ( Wednesday 5 pm ). Kerala CEE Admit card will be made available online from 06.12.2011 through the Kerala CEE Website www.cee-kerala.org.
Late, defective and incomplete Kerala Common Entrance Exam Applications will be summarily rejected. No correspondence will be undertaken in this regard. CEE will not be responsible for any postal delay. Candidates will neither be allowed to include any information in the Kerala CEE Application Form nor be allowed to submit any certificates / documents claiming reservation or any other benefits, after the submission of the Kerala CEE Application, under any circumstances.
Candidates must note that they have to obtain the required certificates in the body of the Application Form itself, wherever specified. The certificates that are attached separately along with the Kerala CEE Application Form will not be considered under any circumstances.
The CEE will conduct the Kerala Entrance Examination, prepare and publish the rank list of of all candidate who qualify in the Entrance Examination and forward the same to the Director of Medical Education. The allotment and admission will be done by the DME, based on various provisions laid down in the Kerala CEE Prospectus, approved by the Government of Kerala.
