Any bachelors degree with an aggregate of 50% marks for general category. 45% for SC/ST students. Scorecard of MAT, CAT, JMET, K MAT, PGCET should be submitted at the time of admission

Admission Process
1.Application forms at the college office as well as on the college website (Online Application) are available from first week of February 2011.
2.Photocopy of I to VI Semester Degree Marks Card to be attached along with the Application Form. In case the candidate has appeared for the last semester exam and the result of last semester is awaited then write down last available marks in the application form.
3.The last date for receiving the applications is 15th April 2011.
4.A Written Test will be held on 1st May 2011. The Written Test will comprise General Commercial Knowledge, English Language and Quantitative ability.
5.Personal Interview will be held on 2nd May 2011.
6.Test Center is St. Josephs College of Commerce, 163, Brigade Road, Bangalore – 560 025 (Next to EVA MALL & IRIS Business Hotel). 7.The candidates appearing for the written test are to bring the following documents along with them: a. Acknowledgement for the submission of application (in case the application has been submitted to the college by hand). b. Photocopy of the form and the DD number in case the application has been sent by post. c. Any of the following documents in the original: PAN CARD /DRIVING LICENCE /ELECTION PHOTO ID CARD /PASS PORT / RATION CARD (WITH ATTESTED PHOTOGRAPH) / BANK PASS BOOK (WITH ATTESTED PHOTOGRAPH)
8.The college has tie up with the banks for the education loan.
9.One time registration fee will be charged for NRI / Foreign nationals.
10.Separate one time registration, processing & eligibility fee will be charged for Non-Karnataka students.
11.The selected candidates will have to pay the fee within two days of the display of the list of selected candidates on the college notice board.
12.The decision of the Admission Committee, St. Josephs College of Commerce, will be final and binding in all matters concerning Admissions.
13.Academically bright and economically poor students are given scholarships.
14.Classes will commence on 27th June 2011.
Important points(General) To be noted before submitting the Application: specific points pertaining to each course i.e. MIB, M.Com & Weekend PG Diploma Programs are mentioned under respective heads. 1.The application form is in the PDF format, which should be printed on separate A-4 size sheet.
2.The application form must be duly filled in by the applicant in his / her own handwriting, and it must be submitted at the College Office on or before the last date for registration.
3.A duly crossed Demand Draft of 600/- for MIB / M.Com programs drawn in favour of the Principal, St. Joseph's College of Commerce, Bangalore – 560 025 must accompany the application, failing which the application will be rejected. (Demand Draft is required only if the application form is downloaded). The same may be obtained from the College Office on the payment of
500/- for MIB / M.Com
4.In case the application has been downloaded then the Demand Draft number will be the Application Number. Please make a note of this number before you send in your application.
5.Since the final marks card may not be available at the time of submission, applicants could fill up the last marks available.
6.Recommendations in any form will disqualify a candidate from getting admission to the college. Applicants are hereby informed not to bring in any recommendations.
7.The college does not accept capitation / donations for admissions. You are requested to bring any such request in writing to the notice of the Principal or the Vice President, Bangalore Jesuit Educational Society, Jesuit Nivas, 35, Museum Road, Bangalore – 560 001.
