Admission Process
Provisional Admission: Students who seeks admission in our college has to submit his XIIth Mark Sheet and pass certificate along with the Bio- Data as a scanned document through e-mail. On scrutiny provisional admission will be granted.
Confirmation: After providing the provisional admission, the student's seat will be confirmed after receiving the tuition fees in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of RVS Educational trust, Sulur, Coimbatore.
Admission Process Last date for the receipt of Application: The last date for the receipt of the application for Degree courses is the tenth day after the publication of the results of XIIth Std / UG degree.
Prospectus and Application Forms: Available in the College Office on remittance of Rs.100/ - for U.G. Courses, Rs.200 / - for P.G. Courses and Rs.300 / - for MCA & MBA by cash or Demand Draft drawn in favor of RVS Educational Trust. Postal requests for application forms and prospectus should be accompanied by a self addressed, stamped (Rs.6 / -) envelope of Size 25 cm x 125 cm with the name of the course written at the top left corner.
Application for Admission: It should be made in the prescribed form & should be filled by the candidate and registered in time. The receipt of application will be acknowledged, if a self addressed post cards is enclosed with the application. No other reply or acknowledgement will be sent to the applicant. No correspondence will be entertained regarding the application.
The Application Number: Noted on the left hand top corner of the application form should be quoted in all correspondence.
Admission Card: It will be sent to each provisionally selected candidate who will be called for an interview with the Principal on the date notified thereon. Spot admission shall be offered to deserving students with high percentage of marks.
Certificates: Candidates for admission will be required to bring the following at the time of the interview. 1. S.S.L.C. mark sheet, 2. H.S.C. mark sheet, 3. Transfer Certificate, 4. Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended, 5. Statement of Grades (Marks), 6. Prescribed fees, 7. Community Certificate.
Candidates are directed to keep for themselves sufficient number of attested copies of Grade Certificates, H.S.C., S.S.L.C. mark sheet, T.C. and Conduct Certificates before submitting them to the College.
Recognition: Students from States other than Tamil Nadu will have to apply for recognition of examinations passed, by paying the fees prescribed to the University. They must also enclose the following certificates.
The original or provisional Higher Secondary or Degree certificate of the course last attended
A Certificate from the Principal of the School/College last studied for having undergone the prescribed course and having passed the Examination thereof.
Admission Fees: Candidates finally selected in the interview will be admitted on payment of the prescribed fees together with an admission fee for UG - Rs.500 / - and PG - Rs.1000 / - after which their names will be entered in the rolls of the College.
College and Hostel Fees: Can be remitted by cash directly to the College office or by crossed Demand Draft in favor of RVS Educational Trust, Sulur.
Criteria for Admission: The College admits students on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination. However, outstanding athletes, players, orators and students talented in other activities will receive special consideration.
Passed in more than one sitting: If a candidate has passed the qualifying examination in more than one sitting or through the compartment system, the Register number of all such sittings should be clearly indicated in the application form.
To prove 1st appearance in H.S.E : The applicant should furnish a True Copy of the marks certified by the Head of the School through which he / she appeared for the Higher Secondary examination for the first time or by a Gazetted Officer.
Passport Size Photograph: Every candidate admitted should submit three copies of his / her passport size photograph to the office at the time of joining the College.
Bogus mark Certificate: As per the instruction of the Director of Collegiate Education, the admission is subject to the verification of the mark certificate by the Director of Government Examination and if the Mark Certificate is found to be bogus, admission is liable for cancellation besides criminal action being taken.
Dress Regulations: Students are expected to dress simply and modestly. Girl students should attend the College only in sarees or traditional salwar kameez. They shall not come to the College in any other dress. For both men and women uniform is compulsory for all important and ceremonial functions.
Attendance: Attendance on all working days is compulsory. Students will not be allowed to write the University Examinations unless they get 75% attendance in each semester. Students who are absent without applying for leave will be seriously dealt with. Hostellers should apply for leave only with the signature of the Assistant Warden of their respective Hostels.
