Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy was established by Sikh Educational Society in 1982. The college is named after the immortal luminary, the Great Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji, whose teachings and ideas always inspire us.
The Sikh Educational Society was formed in Pre-Independence days (1937) at Lahore in an effort to modernize educational, cultural and social environment and to promote religio-socio-economic interests. It is a governing body, which comprises of eminent bureaucrats, philanthropists, scholars, prominent educationists & educational administrators serving the cause of education. The SES is celebrating its platinum jubilee this year.
