It is a 4-year bachelor’s degree program. Students who took physics, chemistry and biology/computer science in their 10+2 can opt for this course. Subjects studied in this course includes micro processing & interfacing, numerical analysis, power electronics, electric drives & utilization, electrical machine design, communication engineering, extra high voltage engineering, non-linear and digital control systems, etc.
Must have passed the Itermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of A.P. with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects, or any other examination

Admissions under CATEGORY – A / Convener’s Quota To seek admission into first year of four-year B.Tech course in any branch, a student must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects, or any other examination recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as its equivalent.
All the eligible candidates for admission into First Year shall have to qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of AP. The candidates will be admitted by EAMCET Convener strictly in accordance with the rank secured at the Entrance Examination and keeping the rules applicable in view, regarding the reservation of seats of various categories of candidates.
Admissions under CATEGORY – B / NRI Quota To seek admission under CATEGORY – B, a student should either have obtained a rank or should have secured a minimum aggregate percentage of 50% in group subjects (Maths, Physics and Chemistry) in the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as its equivalent.
All the eligible candidates seeking admission into First year B.Tech under CATEGORY – B, are required to contact Admissions Officer, SVIT in person and obtain the application form and submit the same duly filled-in before the cut-off date as prescribed by the college. Candidates will be shortlisted in accordance with rules laid down by Government of Andhra Pradesh and shortlisted candidates will be called for admission as per the list.
