I am Shankar, studying intermediate (CPM), second year. I am very interested to pursue Environmental Sciences in my higher education. Hence I request your guidance in this matter. I am planning to pursue Bachelor of Environmental Management (BEM) offered by the prestigious Gandhi Institute of Technology & Management (GITAM), Visakhapatnam next academic year. After that I am interested to pursue M. Sc. in Wildlife Science offered by the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun. And then M. Tech in Environmental engineering in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. I am also interested to pursue M. Sc. in Sustainable Development and M. Sc. in Disaster Mitigation offered by the Sikkim Manipal University under distance education mode. My doubt is that, Am I eligible to pursue M. Sc. Environmental Science in Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati after completing the above mentioned courses (last lines)? Am I eligible to carry on research work (Ph. D/ M. Phil) in the related courses after this? Is it worth doing the above last mentioned courses under distance education? Is distance education equivalent to regular campus courses? May I get jobs after pursuing distance education in the concerned Environmental Sciences (all the above mentioned courses).
