Shri Lalji Mehrotra, the founder of a great source of inspiration for all of us believed that vocational education alone shall make a common youth self supportive and ultimately an asset to the society. Shri Laljibhai went one step ahead when he could get a piece of land in Jogeshwari / Andheri east area. Majority of people here belong to middle, lower middle & lower class of society lagging behind by both educationally & economically. He wanted to start an activity of vocational education for their upliftment. His dream came true in the year 1999, when L.M.T.I.., launched its training programmes, known as National Certification Programme coming under the aegis of National Council for Vocational Training, Govt. of India.
