St.Joseph’s Boys Home and Industrial School started in 1953 at Katpadi, Vellore in Tamil Nadu. Started off with Carpentry Section (ISC) and now offers Welding (NCVT), Tailoring (PVT. Govt. Diploma) and Electrician (Non Formal). It provides training mainly for the poor rural youth for their livelihood. Each year about 60 young men leave our Institute, equipped for skilled in a trade of their choice and provided with all the tools needed to begin work immediately. In 2003, we celebrated the Golden Jubilee of our Institute. Fund are raised from management, Benefactors and from St.Joseph wood works section.
