There is very little difference, if any, in the difficulties faced by a student doing MBA from after a BBA degree and a student doing MBA after a B. Com degree. B. Com students may find it a bit easier in the financial accounting and other finance subjects in MBA and the BBA students may find that they have studied many of the management principles and theories that are covered in MBA. But these are not very important factors to perform well in an MBA course. You must be aware that a large proportion of students in reputed MBA institutions in India are from Engineering/ Science background. They have neither studied B. Com nor BBA. But that does not stop them from performing well in MBA and later secure a good job.

If you have the right skills, abilities, personality and interests required to be successful in management, an MBA or an equivalent qualification from a reputed institutions will be enough to achieve success in career. No additional qualification will be necessary. But yes, once you are in the job, you may require to reskill yourself from time to time with new qualification that is needed for your career growth. But that will depend on your work experience and your future career prospects. For example, being an MBA, you may find yourself in a job in insurance. After a few years on the job, you may require a qualification form Insurance Institute of India. To teach in MBA institutions, there are two options. One, you can join after 3-7 years of experience post MBA in the industry (any industry) and two, you can obtain a Fellowship in Management/ Doctorate in Management and then join. To do a Fellowship/Doctorate, you will have be an MBA first.
