As you are studying Commerce in class XIIth, you cannot study a degree course in Engineering. But you can apply for a Diploma on the basis of your class X qualifications. If you can complete the Diploma in Engineering (duration is 3 years), then you can do a degree if you want.

You can study a Diploma in various streams like Computer, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Civil, Printing, Construction, Telecommunication, Industrial Electronics and Digital Electronics. All these streams offer good career opportunities in terms of job options. If you have all the requirements, you will find no problem in getting a job.
