    My Tests

I am a graduate in sociology. I am interested in doing course in mass communication (creative writing, script writing and such). So i would like to have information on all the reputed colleges, universities and institutes specializing in this in the states. And as to when i should go about applying for admission, fees and such information. And one more thing is there any provision for doing this the correspondence way, also.

Mass Communication courses are not just about creative writing, script writing and related subjects. The courses teach you about communication through various media like print, television, radio, multimedia, etc. You will be taught subjects like theory of communication, visual communication, audio-visual communication, sound technologies, still photography, radio production, video and television production, film production, media ethics, etc.

1) Course: MA in Mass Communication

Duration: 2 years

Eligibility: Candidates who have taken their degree in arts, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, engineering or medicine are eligible to apply, provided they have secured 50 % or more marks in aggregate in their first degree examination of a course which is of three of more years' duration after the 10+2 examination.
