I am an S.Y.B.Sc student with Chemistry, wanting to do an M.C.A. course. Some people have told me that to do an M.C.A. course requires Physics as a subject and I will need to shift to Physics from Chemistry. Please provide me with guidance on this?

Whoever has told you that to do an MCA you will need to study Physics, is wrong. There is no such requirement for MCA course in India. Some MCA courses require you to have studied Mathematics in B. Sc. and some MCA courses require you to have studied Mathematics in Higher Secondary. That's all. Apart from Mathematics, there is no requirement of any other subject. So you need not shift to Physics.

We hope that the information has been useful to you. If you need more information, please feel free to write to us again anytime.
