I am doing BE (Electronics and communications) in Vidya Jyoti Institute of Technology. I want to go in for PG in Aerospace engineering or Aeronautics. For being able to get admission in all the above institutions you need to qualify in GATE. You can appear in the paper of Electronics and Communication Engineering in the GATE. Over and above your GATE score, all the institutions conduct entrance test for admission. If you qualify in the entrance examination, you are called for an interview. For final admission, your academic performance in BE, GATE score, your score in the entrance examination and your interview performance are taken into account. The entrance test at the IITs and the other institutions test your grasp of engineering sciences. What they look for is a thorough fundamental knowledge of the principles and theories of engineering.
