AMIE stands for Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers. This associate membership is awarded to you if you pass the section A and section B of the examinations conducted by the Institution of Engineers for the purpose. The institution only conducts the examination. There is no regular course offered by the institution. To sit for the examinations, you have to be a member of the institution and then register for the examinations when those are due.
