The program Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC in the Master's Degree* (2 year or 4 semester Master’s Degree after a 3 year Bachelor’s Degree #) or equivalent in the relevant subject to qualifying LPUNEST and Interview.

Candidate who has completed 1-year/2-semester master's degree* programme with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree is also eligible.

Hello, First of all, I would like to congratulate you that you are going to complete the master’s degree in Economics. Once you complete the postgraduation there will be many career opportunities waiting for you like – You will be eligible to become a Lecturer or researcher by appearing in India’s toughest exam UGC NET. You will be eligible to puruse Ph.D. You will get an option of writing the Indian Economic or Statistical Service Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Examination. There are various government jobs available for the master’s degree holders in Economics. You can go for various Public Sector units such as TERI, FICCI, NCAER, RBI etc. There are also such more opportunities that you can avail after clearing the exam.
