It is not appropriate for us to tell you about the best colleges in Bangalore offering courses in fashion designing as there is no official assessment or gradation of the educational institutions in India offering courses in fashion design. However, NIFT is the most reputed institute in India. NIFT is an autonomous institution of the Ministry of Textile, Government of India.

NIFT Bangalore centre, The Karnataka State Co-op. Mktg. Federation Building, No. -8, Cunningham Road, Bangalore 560052

Some other private institutions which are good:

JD Institute of Fashion Technology

Sheriff House, 85 Richmond Road, Bangalore-560025

Apparel & Leather Technics Pvt. Ltd.

Kai Kondanahalli, Sarjapur Road, Carmelrani Post, Bangalore 560 035

Bangalore Institute of Fashion Technology,

274, Mysore Road, Kuvempunagar

(New Guddadahalli), Bangalore - 560 026

Royal School of Fashion

4, South Block, Manipal Centre,

Dickenson Road, Bangalore- 560 042

IITC

102 Richmond Road, Bangalore 560052

Fee structure varies from institution to institution and over duration of courses. A typical Diploma course of 3 years duration would charge about Rs 100000 135000.

Going by the increasing amount of fashion awareness among people in India, Fashion designers have a bright future. The Government is also encouraging expansion in textile and garment industry. Even the international fashion bigwigs are taking cues from the Indian fashion gurus. India is slowly but steadily being recognised as a trendsetter. Indian models are achieving accolades in international competitions and Indian clothes are being considered as fashion statements in the West. Indian designers are getting recognised abroad. So, overall, it can be opined that the future prospects of fashion designing in India are bright.
