Hello Arti,

After graduation, you will get the limited options to make a career in geography subject. You may choose the teaching after BA in geography. if you want to go for the Higher studies, you will get more option to make a career. After studying Geography you can opt one of the options from the following: Town Planner Environmental Consultant GIS Officer Architect, Researcher, scientist Teaching or lectureship Urban planner and many more as discussed in the another answer by youngBuzz counselor. After post graduation in Geography you will be eligible for assistant professor in universities on institutes, or also eligible for research. The UGC NET exam is held for the eligibility of candidates for assistant professor and junior research fellowship. The minimum UGC NET eligibility is master's degree with minimum 55% marks from UGC recognized university. So it will be beneficial to appear for NET exam after your PG. It will also make you eligible for administration job, counselors, author, research, fellowship and many more opportunities. Hop it will help you. All the best!!
