You need at least a BDS (Bachelor of Dental Sciences) degree to practice dentistry. Since youve completed your SSC, the next step towards your dream profession would be to enrol your self in a Junior College with Physics, Biology and Chemistry as your compulsory subjects. After your HSC you can join a dental college for BDS.

For a seat in a dental college you got to secure good percentage in the MH-CET (Common Entrance Test) examination, which is a prerequisite for admission to BDS and other medical courses in Maharashtra.

Dentistry is a four-year course, which is followed by one year of rotating internship. After your BDS, if you want your career to grow, then you will have to be a specialist with a MDS degree.
