we are not very clear about what you exactly want to ask. we are assuming that you want to further stay in this field of Bio technology. so after completing you M.sc.you can think about getting into research or start doing a job.

A post-M.Sc. course in biotechnology is offered at the institute of microbial technology, Chandigarh. research facilities are available at a number of institutions all over the country including AIIMS, New Delhi, the Indian Institute of science,Bangalore,The international centre for genetic engieering and biotechnology,Mumbai, and the IITs atMumbai, Delhi,Chennai and Kharagpur.Post doctoral research facilities are also available at Bose University, Kolkata, and dept. of biotechnology, Ministry of science and technology, New Delhi.

Job Prospects:

candidates with post graduate qualifications in biotechnology are employed in all the four areas of work. In the field of drug and pharmaceutical research, public funded research laboratories, as well as leading pharmaceutical companies are investing much money to set up state-of-the-art R & D facilities.

Most biotechnologists find employment on a large scale in research laboratories run by the government, universities and institutes of technology, as well as the corporate sector.

Hi Bipin, Thanks for the below answer. Apart from that, after MSc. you can go for the research and or lectureship. The CSIR NET exam provides a great opportunity to the candidates for the assistant professor or junior research fellowship. You can apply for the JRF after graduation while minimum qualification for the lectureship is post graduation degree in the science field. You can find the online question paper and CSIR NET Mock test for the preparation. You must be below 28 years for the JRF award while there is no age limit for the lectureship. After successfully clearing the CSIR NET exam you will be eligible to apply for the vacancy in the top institute or university or can go for the research in micro biotechnology.
