To make the right decision, the ideal way would be to first identify the true profile of yours your abilities, skills, interests and personality and then try to see requirements of which careers match your profile. Pursue the career, which is best suitable for you.

After BIT, you can do:

Courses related to Information Technology like MIT (Master of Information Technology), PGDIT (Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology), MCA (Master of Computer Applications), M. Sc. In IT, and PGDCA (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications).

Management courses like MBA/ PGDBM (Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management)/ related course. If you want to pursue a career in IT, then, you can do a specialization in IT or System Management under your management course curriculum

Apart from these two streams, you will also be eligible for any post graduate course, the eligibility for which is graduation in any subject. Some examples are given below:

Post graduation in Journalism

Post graduation in Mass Communication

Bachelor of Library Science

Master of Social Work

Post graduation in Travel & Tourism Management

Post graduation in Accommodation Operations/ Hotel Management/ related course

In terms of job options after your course:

In the field of Information Technology, it is possible to get a job as a trainee software developer/ programmer. You may get into a large company, but look out for opportunities in small to medium scale companies.
