Admissions to MBA courses are conducted in two stages. Firstly, there is a written test for two hours consisting of objective type questions on verbal reasoning, English comprehension, mathematical reasoning (or numerical ability), and data interpretation/sufficiency.

Moreover, some admission tests also have sections on analytical and logical deductive ability, general knowledge on business environment, and essay. Those who pass this test are called for a group discussion and interview. For final admission, your academic record, work experience, score in written test, performance in the group discussion and interview are considered. However, most institutes give very little weightage to academic results and work experience. Your score in the admission test and performance in the group discussion and interview are given maximum consideration.
