You have to apply to Armed Forces Medical College after the publication of the admission notification.

Eligibility: You should be unmarried and medically fit. Your age should be between 17 years and 22 years if you have passed 10+2 and between 17 years and 24 years if you have passed B. Sc. You will have to pass 10+2 or equivalent examination in first attempt with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English taken together. You should obtain at least 60% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and at least 50% marks in each of these subjects. You should obtain 50% marks in English. You should also pass class X examination with Mathematics as a subject.

You could also pass B. Sc. with any two subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Zoology, Botany) and be eligible. However, in this case also, you have to pass the 10+2 examination as per the criteria stated above.

The written examination is for two hours duration and have a total of 200 marks. The examination is divided into 4 parts 1) Biology (Zoology and Botany), 2) Chemistry, 3) Physics, 4(a) Intelligence, logic, and reasoning, 4(b) English language & comprehension.

You will be then called for the interview based on performance in the written test.

You can follow any good book for medical entrance examination. We would suggest to enroll for a good preparatory coaching class either in a classroom program or in a correspondence program.
