The institute has been started its BBBT (Broad Based Basic Training) course in hospitality from the Februrary 2010 session under Institute Management Committee.

The new building is under construction comprising 4.99 acre of land at Atoir Mouza under P.S Balurghat of this district with full infrastructure as per DGE&T norms.

Institute Management Committee, Centre of Excellence in Hospitality Management offers multi entrance and multi exit courses in Hospitality Management through Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Balurghat.
